Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Elementary educators will be able to take a deep dive into the Health Education Core Standards for K-6. During the session best practices for hard topics (i.e., substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, maturation), trauma-informed practices, as well as overcoming barriers will be addressed. Participants will be able to adapt current lesson plans to anticipate barriers using universal design. This will be a hands-on, interactive workshop. Educators will leave with resources and strategies to support teaching the Utah Core Standards for Health Education.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own electronic devices with access to Google as we will share resources in a Google Drive. Participants may also bring a lesson plan they are currently using for Health Education.
