Chelsea Oaks is a committed educator who currently serves as a preschool special education specialist for the Utah State Board of Education (USBE). She is passionate about providing high-quality early learning experiences across the state as well as ensuring that preschools in the state are in compliance with federal regulations. Chelsea loves learning and wants to share that love with others. She has a bachelor's degree in English Education from Southern Utah University and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Utah. She also has earned the Teacher Leader endorsement, is a State Anchor ECERS-trainer, and is a State facilitator for LETRS Early Childhood. Prior to joining USBE, she taught in inclusive preschool classrooms for Washington County School District. Chelsea was born and raised in St. George, Utah and currently lives in Eagle Mountain, Utah with her two kids, cats, and dog. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, traveling, and taking naps.
